How shipping works.

Where we ship

Printed books and art prints ship to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Ebooks, PDFs, and free reading are available everywhere.

Printed books

Books are printed and shipped by our print partner, Lulu. At checkout you choose from the shipping speeds Lulu offers for your address, each with its price; every option includes tracking except Standard Mail, an optional low-cost choice for small orders that you must accept separately — see the Refund Policy .

Ordering several books together usually lowers the shipping cost per book, because shipping is mostly a per-package cost.

Art prints

Art prints are made and shipped by our print lab, Prodigi. At checkout you choose from the shipping methods it offers for your address, each with its price and carrier.

If your order has both books and art prints, they are made in different places, ship as separate parcels, and may arrive on different days. Their shipping is priced separately and shown together in your order total.

When your order ships

Paid orders are held for a short review period — normally about 24 hours — before they go to production, so you can ask us to cancel in that time. Once production starts, an order cannot be canceled.

You'll get tracking once your parcel is with the carrier, and your orders page shows its status. Estimated delivery dates come from the print partner and are not guaranteed.

Customs and duties

Orders shipped outside the United States may be charged import duties or taxes by the destination country when they arrive. Those charges are the recipient's responsibility.

Wrong or incomplete address

Please check your address before you pay. A parcel returned because the address was wrong or incomplete can be reshipped once you confirm the correct one, at your cost.

Digital orders

Ebooks and PDFs are delivered immediately on order completion — no shipping involved. You'll find them in your account library and via the order confirmation email.
