Re-seeing a board: Arrange and Analyze
Two tools that read your own graph back to you.
ARRANGE (under Tools) rearranges what you have already pinned, three ways:
- Chronologically — by publication year, then page, in one left-to-right band. Undated items go to a lane below rather than being dropped.
- By connection — each separate web gathers around its busiest card. That hub is usually your load-bearing evidence.
- Hierarchy from selection — levels spreading outward from one card. Anything the selected card can't reach stays where it is, because moving it would imply a relationship your graph doesn't contain.
Cards inside group frames stay put — you put them there on purpose. Ctrl+Z undoes an entire arrangement in one step.
ANALYZE reads the graph back as a diagnostic: which sources anchor the most connections, where separate webs are lopsided, where you have recorded contradictions, which pins are connected to nothing, and how many connections have no reasoning written on them. It reports; it does not grade.
