The capture inbox
Highlight in the moment; organize when you sit down.
Every highlight you make in the reader — PDF or EPUB, in any book — lands in your Inbox on the workspace rail automatically. You do not have to be thinking about a board when you read.
The Inbox also takes: · a thought typed straight into the box at the top; · anything shared to Temple Seven from your phone, once you add it to your home screen (it appears in the share sheet); · any web page, via the bookmarklet on My Research — drag it to your bookmarks bar and press it on any site.
Pin an entry to put it on the current board. Anything already on that board is greyed out, so you can see at a glance what you have and have not used. Entries from a book arrive as citable quote cards; typed thoughts arrive as notes, because a thought you had is not a source.
